Reporting to the Global Marketing Director your mission is critical to the growth plans of the business.

 

Outlined below are some of the key responsibilities that you will have in your role: You will be supporting business development and distribute the marketing content throughout the customer’s journeys. Ensuring personalised narratives mapped by personas, verticals, conversational, on how we help rather than what we sell.

You will be designing, creating the collaterals and promoting GridBeyond’s story to educate and convince prospects and helping the sales team in getting meetings:

  • Create, build and manage gripping marketing campaigns:
    • Transform our story and content into beautifully designed graphics and collaterals
    • Bundling collaterals: mailshot, landing page, downloadables, webinars, advertising, ppc
    • Distributing the content via an array of softwares our marketing automation platform: Pardot, go to webinar, adwords, social media, website…
      • Assemble drip campaigns & ABM 121 for identified personas and adapted to the customer’s journeys
    • Accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of all campaigns.
      • Convince & Nurture all inbound and outbound leads
    • Produce and support the creation of online & offline communications
      • Webinars, ppt, brochures, corporate events and campaigns.

Role

 

We are seeking an Integration Engineer to join our IT Team. The candidate will work in a team environment on the development of a new commercialization platform and the integration of existing systems.

The role will involve the design and implementation of solutions to integrate existing systems and develop a 360 view of the customer, automate the pricing and sales processes, and enhance billing systems.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and must be a good communicator.  He/she will take a structured approach to project delivery and work to clear timelines with the provision of appropriate levels of documentation.

Ideally, the candidate will have experience in digital transformation including digitization of the customer experience.

 

What are we looking for

 

We are looking for an experienced and energetic system analyst to join the GridBeyond IT team. In this role, you will translate business needs into well-documented requirements for IT systems and business process changes. You will work on projects to modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements, all to improve business efficiency and productivity.

 

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills along with technical acumen. The ability to understand and document complex applications is essential along with the skills needed to evaluate and present options for implementing new capabilities.
  • You must be able to effectively communicate complex concepts with suppliers, co-workers and management, both verbally and in writing. You must have experience in managing supplier accountability and performance as well as integrating systems which may involve multiple systems and suppliers. You must balance a self-motivated, independent work ethic with the desire to train and assist others. Organization, prioritization, attention to detail, and working under pressure are all crucial.
  • The role requires a good understanding of IT and business change management processes.
  • The ideal candidate will be working on projects deployed to Front office solutions like Customer portals, Digital transformation, Web sites and social media marketing. The role requires the ability to collaborate with business users and external vendors to design and roll out a modern digital customer experience.

 

Required Experience and Skills

  • Broad understanding of multiple technologies and business domains
  • Proven ability to oversee implementation of a new system including data migration.

The following position will work within GridBeyond’s newly formed Market Optimisation team and will help GridBeyond provide its customers with a route to market to monetise flexibility and generation in all available ancillary services, reserve, and energy markets. The role involves a close working relationship with our clients and our market optimisation team requiring successful candidates to be involved in optimisation and execution of trading strategies while ensuring all customer sites are responding to grid services. Successful candidates will also be involved in development of solutions, tools and reports whilst providing ongoing analysis of markets. This is a 24/7 shift work position enabling GridBeyond to cover ancillary, reserve and energy markets in Ireland, UK and the United States.

As the Business requires there is opportunity to utilise your market and energy expertise to assist clients on their path to net zero. This allows you to integrate into GridBeyond’s dedicated Net Zero Business Unit which is growing in line with the market demand. The Market Optimisation Team is a key resource for our clients’ ambitions towards net zero.  This opportunity can broaden your energy exposure to energy strategy, efficiency and renewable technology solutions.

 

What are we looking

  • Provide 24/7 monitoring on all our grid services live across the day for our diverse portfolio across Ireland, United Kingdom, and the United States. Understanding what is happening, being prepared to act when required depending on scenario, understanding when an issue has occurred and what to do with it.
  • Optimising our portfolio in Great Britain’s ancillary services (frequency, reserve) and power markets. Analysing market dynamics, defining short term trading strategies. Trade execution and both, financial and physical management of our asset’s positions.
  • Support and drive GridBeyond’s entry into new ancillary services and power markets such as, but not limited to, ERCOT and PJM. Understand market structure, analyse potential opportunities and definition and execution of trading strategies.
  • Assessing and dealing with alarms taking ownership and responsibility to solve them in a timely fashion.
  • Dealing with customer requests (report config, setpoint changes, schedule changes etc).
  • Support GridBeyond smart grid services; application processes, generating and carrying out weekly and real-time declarations, declaration analysis, dispatch management, site/application alarms and generating customer statements.
  • Contacting customers to ensure we have dispatch and engagement info up to date and that customers themselves are ready for dispatches.
  • Ensuring we are always ready to deliver a dispatch to answer the needs of the Grid. Having procedures and staff at the ready to deliver.
  • Monitoring delivery performance of services on an ongoing basis and preparing performance reports as required by grid operators.
  • Develop understanding of customer sites, assets, and control techniques for current live sites
  • Reporting unit performance and alarms to business on weekly basis.
  • Carrying out energy analysis on customer data to determine efficiency savings, site energy usage issues and additional savings opportunities for both Ireland and UK clients.
  • Cite-See (GridBeyond’s head end controller) support for deployment team.
  • Center-See and Customer Portal configuration and support for existing customer base.
  • Provide feedback to the development team on tools and services to assist with energy analysis.
  • Assist in the development of clients net zero strategy across numerous industries.
  • Assist with the integration and carbon impact of new renewable technology solutions.
  • Assist in the development of feasibility studies.

What you will have

  • Engineering degree (L7 or L8) or equivalent
  • Understanding of trading, specifically energy trading a preference but not a requirement
  • Good understanding of energy usage, energy billing across industrial and commercial retail buildings

GridBeyond is a technology leader in the evolving smart grid offering Load Shifting, Demand Response and Frequency Response services. The smart grid is the next generation electricity network. Its aim is to utilise any possible electricity producing or consuming resource connected to the grid, from small residential to large industrial loads, to ensure security of supply in a changing energy landscape and to maximise value to the public. This challenging vision requires new technologies to be developed, in particular control and IT technology.

What are we looking

  • Installation of Gridbeyond’s electrical metering, control hardware and software equipment.
  • Electrical craft certificate with a minimum of 8 years’ experience
  • Commissioning of Gridbeyond’s monitoring and control site system.
  • Interfacing Gridbeyond’s site-based hardware to electrical loads in a wide variety of industry types.
  • Communication with site-based engineering staff and third-party maintenance contractors whilst installing and commissioning.
  • Troubleshooting and investigating faults on current sites in Gridbeyond’s portfolio.
  • Upgrading panels and retrofitting components as required by Gridbeyond’s development team.
  • Report writing following installations.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration controls beneficial but not essential, including Danfoss, Carel, RDM, JTL, Emerson and independent PLC controls providers such as STAR refrigeration. Training will be provided where skills gaps exist.
  • Interface effectively with customers to resolve requests and system issues.
  • Extended travel is required, >60%, mainly in Ireland but on rare occasions to the UK.

 

What you will have

  • Electrical Installation and Commissioning skills essential
  • Electrical infrastructure knowledge of commercial and industrial buildings
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

Role

 

A Financial Accountant is responsible for running the accounting and financial activities of an organisation. They analyse the economic stability of the company and provide financial information to other departments, enabling these departments to make budgeting and investment decisions. A Financial Accountant reports on costs, productivity, margins and company expenditures.

 

This Financial Accountant will be responsible for tasks such as financial reporting, forecasting, management of credit control as well as having a hands-on approach to assisting the team.

 

 

What are we looking for

  • Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
  • Tax reporting and inventory processing
  • Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates
  • Advising on estimates for project funding
  • Creating KPI reports

 

 

 

  • Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow
  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
  • Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data

  • Managing and training staff when necessary

 

Qualifications and Skills

Role

 

The Financial Controller role is broad and will be very visible to the Senior Management Team. The ideal candidate will take ownership for a broad range of processes (working with the Head of Finance), introducing best practice to make sure that the finance team’s approaches are robust and scalable.

As a senior member of the finance team, the Financial Controller will have significant scope to grow the role and extend finance’s reach across the business. While this role formally reports to the Head of Finance, the ideal candidate will demonstrate that they can be trusted to deliver with little supervision.

 

 

What are we looking for

  • Reviewing and documenting finance team processes, driving improvements which will result in more robust work practices;
  • Design and implementation of an enhanced, formalised delegation of authority matrix and a set of enhanced financial controls. Working to ensure adoption and adherence with same;
  • Driving and enhancing the month-end management reporting and analysis process;
  • Ensuring that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled for all entities in accordance with plan;

  • Reviewing contracts and other commercial documents to make sure that transactions are understood and subsequently accounted for correctly;
  • Liaising with external service providers, interpreting and applying professional advice received;
  • Partnering with other business functions to enhance the impact and visibility of the finance function across the business;
  • Working with IT to enhance the finance related IT infrastructure; and
  • Other ad-hoc requests (e.g. insurance renewals) as the need arises.

We are seeking a senior data engineer to join our Data and Analytics IT Team. This candidate will work in an agile development environment to lead the design and development of our Data platform to meet the needs of Data Science and Business Management teams. The solution will integrate data from the market and various external sources, IOT sensors from Grid Beyond’s install base and business data from CRM, Billing and other IT systems. This integrated data will be used by Data science teams to create and test solutions for energy forecasting, optimization and trading. Additionally, the solution will be used to develop Power BI reports for internal and external stake holders.

You will have an opportunity to contribute to GridBeyond’s Smart Grid Platform development through analysis, design, implementation and delivery of industry leading big data and data warehousing solutions. The solution will be developed using Azure’s Cloud services and the candidate should have hands on experience of using Azure Data Platform. Ideally the candidate would have gone through the whole development life cycle from design to implementation to production on Azure during his previous projects.

  • Lead generation through continuous research and analysis to build on a pre-existing CRM database
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales resource for further development
  • Participate and contribute to company meetings, conference calls, and other activities
  • Attend targeted local and regional industry association conferences and tradeshow events
  • Salesforce administration including building detailed, standardized reports and dashboards on sales pipelines
  • Work closely with the Sales team to facilitate business development, manage pipelines and deliver results
  • Coordinate with Marketing to develop and implement promotional campaigns for territory

Education/Training

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Energy Management or related degree or at least five years of B2B experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to confidently present sophisticated / technical concepts to a wide variety of stakeholders including tenants, engineers, facility managers and CFOs
  • Ability to influence and negotiate throughout complex, technical sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management
  • Strategic thinker, with operational delivery capability
  • First rate customer management skills, coupled with strong listening and communications skills
  • Professional individual – articulate, honest, innovative, client-service orientated and dedicated to improving the energy markets for clients
  • Highly motivated individual and enthusiastic about green energy and technology
  • Team player, able to work both individually and on team projects
  • Commercially aware
  • Well-honed interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills especially regarding use of Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet

Preferred qualifications

  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Direct work experience in energy markets
  • Knowledge of the US electricity deregulated markets
  • Strong client-service orientation, ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques

Salary: $50k according to experience + $10k OTE (uncapped)
