Established in 1828 by William Marsden, the Royal Free Hospital’s founding principle was that they would take in anyone who needed treatment – the first hospital in London to do so. Nowadays the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust has a leading role in improvements in healthcare and some of the best clinical outcomes in the country. The Trust incudes three hospitals: Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital.
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and GridBeyond have been working together since 2020 as the Trust was looking for new opportunities in the energy market, better utilisation of onsite generation assets and reduction and improvements in demand management.
