GridBeyond shortlisted in The Energy Awards 2018
We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for “Innovation of the Year: technology – Software, Power, Networks” for our world-first hybrid battery and demand network.
Finding flexibility is often integral to participation in demand side response, but what if a site has no inherent energy flexibility? By connecting to GridBeyond’s unique and world-first hybrid solution, any business can participate. When adding a battery to a site, GridBeyond has unlocked as much as 65% in on-site flexibility which was otherwise inaccessible. Without a battery, businesses are able to access the fastest responding DSR programmes with even the slowest of responses as part of the aggregated network.
The Energy Awards 2018 is taking place 5 December at London Hilton, Park Lane and will bring together an audience of over 500 industry heavyweights to recognise and celebrate the very best achievements in the industry.
