We are seeking a knowledgeable Energy Market Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will understand the ISEM energy market, with an interest in the energy transition, battery technologies, and distributed generation. Qualifications:

What’s this role about?
As MISO Market Manager – US Market Strategy & Regulatory, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing GridBeyond’s market strategy. This role will focus on identifying commercial market opportunities, supporting regulatory compliance, enabling market access, and driving revenue growth for GridBeyond’s energy products and services.
You will work closely with sales, operations, product, trading, and leadership teams to ensure GridBeyond is well positioned to participate successfully across US energy markets, including wholesale power markets, ancillary services, demand response, capacity markets, and flexibility services.
This is a key role for someone with strong knowledge of the US energy market landscape, regulatory frameworks, MISO ISO/RTO market structures, and the commercial drivers behind battery storage, renewables, demand response and distributed energy resources.
What will I be doing?
Market Strategy Development
- Develop and execute market strategies that align GridBeyond’s commercial objectives with US regulatory frameworks and market opportunities
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and threats across US power markets, including wholesale markets, ancillary services, capacity markets, demand response and other flexibility service
- Monitor competitor activity, market design changes, policy developments and industry trends to ensure GridBeyond remains ahead of market changes
- Translate complex market and regulatory data into clear, actionable strategies that support revenue growth and market expansion
Regulatory & Market Compliance
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes, guidelines and standards affecting the US energy industry, with a MISO focus on demand response, ancillary services, battery storage, capacity markets and distributed energy resources
- Monitor and assess developments from relevant US regulatory bodies, ISOs/RTOs, industry associations and market stakeholders.
- Support the identification and management of market regulatory risks in line with GridBeyond’s commercial strategy and risk appetite

Market Participation & Commercial Enablement

What do I need to be a good technical fit for this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Energy Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Finance or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in energy market strategy, market operations, regulatory affairs, demand response, battery storage, renewable energy, or related energy sector roles

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager with deep knowledge of the U.S. energy industry to join our growing team.
You will be supporting the development of the company’s Product, Communications & Content strategy, business development, and the customer’s journey, their implementation and evaluation across all existing markets in the US.

Company Overview
GridBeyond is an innovative Smart Grid company. We develop systems that aggregate end customer site assets as part of Virtual Powerplant, so they can take part in new energy services which facilitate the decarbonisation of the energy system. We optimise the use of our customers’ energy resources, using our in house developed software and hardware platform. Our system consists of embedded controllers with rich sensor data harvesting and control systems deployed on customer sites, and on the back end we have a suite of in house developed applications managing control, automation and data analytics up to customer facing visualisation and reporting tools.
GridBeyond is a leader in the evolving smart grid offering Load Shifting, Demand Response and Frequency Response services. The smart grid is the next generation electricity network. Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data and Analytics IT Team. This candidate will work in an agile development environment and build a Data Lake and Data Warehouse solution to meet the needs of Data Science and Business Management teams. The solution will integrate data from external sources, IOT sensors from GridBeyond’s install base and business data from CRM, Billing and other IT systems. This integrated data will be used by Data science teams to create and test solutions for energy optimization, energy trading and predictive fault detection. Moreover, the solution will be used to develop Power BI reports for internal and external stakeholders.
You will have an opportunity to contribute to GridBeyond’s Smart Grid Platform development through analysis, design, implementation and delivery of industry leading big data and data warehousing solutions. The solution will be developed using Azure’s Cloud services and the candidate should have hands on experience of using Azure Data Platform. Ideally the candidate would have gone through the whole development life cycle from design to implementation to production on Azure during his previous projects.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the PJM & MISO market by developing new client relationships, identifying market opportunities, and building a strong sales pipeline for GridBeyond’s demand response solutions. This role is suited to a confident, professional self-starter who is comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, leading complex sales conversations, and working collaboratively within a growing sales organization.

- Strong background in sales and business development, with the ability to develop and shape long-term commercial opportunities.
- Proven ability to manage and forecast sales cycles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to a broad stakeholder group including operations managers, engineers, facility managers, and CFOs.
- Ability to influence and negotiate through complex, technical sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong customer management skills and excellent listening and interpersonal capability.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to combine strategic thinking with operational delivery.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM.
